Description
 
Robust frame fitted with an upper platen with spherical seat that moves vertically sustained by a spring. The apparatus can be placed and centered directly on the lower machine platen. The 50-C9030 and 50-C9032/H, conforming to EN 196 are designed to test portions of 40x40x160 prisms broken in flexure, while the 50-C9032, conforming to ASTM C109, fitted with compression platens 75 mm dia., and a vertical daylight of 53 mm is used to test 50mm/2” cubes and other little samples as, for example, microcores. The model 50-C9031 is similar to C9030 but with compression platens 40 x 62.5 mm instead of 40 x 40 mm.

The total height of both 50-C9030, 50-C9031 and 50-C9032 apparatus is 195 mm while it’s 225mm for model 50-C9030/H and 50-C9032/H.
Vertical clearance of the compression machine has to be adjusted using suitable distance pieces accordingly. See accessories

82-SW/DM Test settings
Description
 
The 82-SW/DM is new intuive and smart DATAMANAGER software, very easy to use, complete with many functions, totally flexible and open to network communicatios. It’s compatible with PILOT PRO and AUTOMAX PRO PCS and included in more sophisticated systems as AUTOMAX Multitest console.
It allows real time acquisition and management of all test data and remote control of the machine.

This software provides the data acquisition in real time throughout the test execution up to the specimen failure. All readings are displayed both as graphical and numerical format and stress vs. time plot is traced out in real time. The advanced functions for data base management provide an easy navigation of all saved data.
The produced test certificate is customizable and includes all descriptive information, test results and stress vs. time diagram. The conformity to standards of test execution is therefore proved.

Description

 

Made of steel. Used to reduce the vertical daylight of the compression machine depending on the size of the specimen and considering that, in general, the maximum piston travel is 50 mm. The table in Technical Specifications is a suitable application guide to help you in the selection of required distance pieces.

Distance pieces are available in three different series:

Standard series 50-C908x 
This series is suggested for concrete compression machines/frames when testing normal strength concrete (NSC). This series is fitted with a centering central pin for simple stacking up of distance pieces one on top of the other. The bottom compression platen of the compression machine/frame is simply laid on the distance pieces. Distance pieces are simply laid on the piston.

Series 50-C9080/xx 
This series is suggested for concrete compression machines/frames when testing high perfformance concrete (HPC), rocks, clay blocks and in general materials having brittle failure. This series is fitted with both a centering central pin for simple stacking up of distance pieces one on top of the other and two screws for solid fixing. The bottom compression platen of the compression machine/frame can be simply laid on the distance pieces or fixed by 2 steel plates model 50-C9080/F (see Accessories). Distance pieces can be simply laid on the piston or fixed by 2 screws.

Series 65-L1000/xx 
This series is suggested for cement compression machines/frames. This series is fitted with a centering central pin for simple stacking up of distance pieces one on top of the other. The bottom compression platen of the compression machine/frame is simply laid on the distance pieces. Distance pieces are simply laid on the piston.

Description

All the compression testers or frames series 50-C25xxx, 50-C35xxx, 50-C47xxx, 50-C57xxx, 50-C69xxx and 50-C79xxx, are factory upgraded with upper and lower block platens 510x310mm.
For easier placement of distance pieces to reduce, when necessary, the vertical daylight we suggest the use of the lifting devices.

Two models are available:
  • Lifting device for bottom block platen for easier placement of distance pieces compatible platen size 310 x 510 x 50 mm thickness.

Made of steel. Used to reduce the vertical daylight of the compression machines model 50-A29xxx and 50-A39xxx depending on the size of the specimen and considering that, in general, the maximum piston travel is 50 mm. 
Slotted distance pieces are inserted between the upper crossbar and the spherical seat. To lower the spherical seat you have to use the axial screw assembly.
