Upgrades should be ordered with your machine and factory-installed to enhance your compression machine. Upgrades can include platens surface hardness certificate, special calibration procedures, in-built printer installation, output for additional frame(s) connection, installation of rigid front door and front door lock switch.
The standards prescribe a minimum surface hardness depending on the type of test to be performed.

The special calibrations are useful to extend the Class 1 load measurement accuracy in the lower part of the scale. It is suggested when other test methods (flexure, indirect tensile) or low strength material testing shall be performed in the compression machine. To be specified at the time of order.
