All testing machines require sensors for measuring physical quantity during tests. This section includes all the analog measuring devices to be fitted on standard machines typically used in a soil mechanics laboratory such as load rings, dial gauges, volume change burettes and pore pressure manometers.

Load Rings

Used for measuring applied force on a soil sample

Description

 

Load rings are used for load measurement in soil mechanics test such as, shear, triaxial, uncondiend, CBR ….

All model are made from special alloy steel and they are supplied analogue dial gauge 0.001 mm and calibration chart. 

All models can be fitted with T1000/F (see accessories), a special stem brake unit which maintains the maximum reading after the failure of the specimen 

Load ring can be directly connected to the adapter fit on the crosshead of triaxial frames. Using the 28-WF1049 connector (see accessories) they can be adapted to our complete range of triaxial cells.

Double Burette Volume Change Apparatus

Used for measuring variation of volume on soil sample in traxial tests - Analog version

Description

 

The apparatus comprises two measurement tubes, which have a 25 ml burette mounted internally  and an acrylic tube externally. The burette tubes are connected directly to a reversing valve system, which is used to reverse the direction of travel of the interface in the measurement tubes without affecting the direction of flow of water to or from the triaxial cell.
the unit also includes a by-pass valve system when volume change measurement is not required. Burettes are calibrated to Class A.
