Consolidation cell, suitable for incremental loading test, swelling and permeability tests
Consolidation cell are used together with front loading odeometer apparatus or Automatic Computerized oedometer (ACE EmS) for determining the rate and the magnitude of consolidation.
It can be used also for swelling tests and permeability test
The cell is constructed of anodized aluminum and come complete with all parts shown in the picture.
Condoilisation cells are available with the following nominal dimensions: 50.47mm, 63.50mm, 71.40mm, 75mm, 112.80mm

Consolidation cells' accessories
This accessory, avalibale for all consolidation cell models, shoul be ordered separately.
Calibration disc for consolidation cell
Oedometer consolidation test accessories
The oedometer consolidation test requires correction for apparatus flexibility.
For this reason, consolidation cell assemblied with a hard steel calibration disc should be used to estimate this correction to be applied to the measured vertical deformation.
This accessory, avalibale for all consolidation cell models, shoul be ordered separately.
Upper and lower porous stones along with cutting ring, already inclueded in each consolidation cell, can be ordered as spare parts.
