We propose a testing equipment specified by the “Commission des méthodes d’essai des matériaux de construction” to quickly define the bulk density of powders which is an important characteristic to qualify and appreciate different types of cement at their reception. The sieve funnel, used alone, also allows to define the angle of repose of the cement powder.
